Terms of use

We're sharing. Play nicely.

The short version

Who we are

Games with no ads (gameswithnoads.com) is made by a dad and his two kids in the United Kingdom, and run by Alexander Pink ("we" and "us" on this page). By using the site or the app, you agree to these terms. If you're under 18, please read them with a grown-up.

Playing

Every game is free, with no ads and nothing to buy, and you don't need an account to play. We add new games, change old ones and occasionally retire one. We'll always try to keep the site working, but we can't promise it will never be down.

A note for grown-ups: the games are made for kids, by kids. The cheekiest thing on here is a few of our Would You Rather questions, which can be a little bit silly-rude. If anything bothers you, tell us and we'll have a look.

Accounts

Be nice

Please don't:

Our games, and the app

The games, pictures, sounds, words and code on Games with no ads belong to us (or to people who've let us use their work). We give you a free, personal licence to play them in your browser and to install the app on your own devices. Please don't copy, change or share them beyond that. Installing the app just saves the site to your home screen so it opens like an app and works offline. It updates itself, and you can remove it any time.

The legal bit

We share the site as it is, for free. We work hard to make it good and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of bugs, or that your scores will be kept forever.

We aren't responsible for losses that we couldn't reasonably have expected, or that weren't caused by us breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms limits anything the law says we can't limit, such as our responsibility if our carelessness causes death or personal injury, or for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

Your information

Our Privacy notice explains what we keep about you and why. (Hardly anything.)

Changes

We might update these terms now and then. We'll change the date at the top, and if it's a big change we'll tell account holders by email first. If you keep using the site after that, you're agreeing to the new terms.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If there's ever a disagreement, we'd much rather sort it out with a friendly chat first. If we can't, the courts of England and Wales can decide it, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you can use your local courts.
